Hotel Georgia (Vancouver)
Hotel Georgia is a historic hotel located at 801 West
Georgia street in Downtown Vancouver. It was opened on May 7, 1927, as a 12
story building. The architects were Robert T. Garrow and John Graham, Sr.
It was most recently branded as the Crowne Plaza Hotel Georgia with 313 rooms,
by owner Allied Hotel Properties Inc. In 1998, it underwent a major restoration
and renovation. The building and many portions of the interior are designated as
a protected heritage property by the City of Vancouver. Sold in early 2007, the
hotel is currently undergoing restoration and redevelopment.

The Fairmont Hotel Vancouver (generally known as the Hotel
Vancouver) is located on West Georgia Street and Burrard Street, in the heart of
downtown Vancouver, British Columbia.
Constructed by Canadian National Hotels, it stands at 111 metres (17 storys)
high, and its architects were John S. Archibald and John Schofield. It is often
referred to by locals simply as "the Hotel Van". It became part of the Canadian
Pacific Hotels chain after that company purchased CN Hotels in 1988. CP Hotels
was later renamed to Fairmont Hotels and Resorts.

Living Shangri-La
Living Shangri-la is a mixed-use skyscraper in Downtown
Vancouver and is the tallest building in Metro Vancouver. The new 62-storey
"Shangri-La" tower contains a 5-star hotel and its offices on the first
15-floors, with condominium apartment units occupying the rest of the tower. The
building's podium complex also includes a spa, Urban Fare specialty grocery
store, a Vancouver Art Gallery public display, and a curated public sculpture
garden. The high-rise stands 201 m (659 ft) tall and a private roof garden will
be constructed on floor 61. It is the 10th tallest building in Canada.

One Wall Centre
One Wall Centre, also known as the Sheraton Wall Centre -
North Tower, is currently the second-tallest completed building in Downtown
Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. The skyscraper is located at a high point
on the downtown peninsula of Vancouver and its address is 1088 Burrard Street.
One Wall Centre was designed by Busby Perkins+Will. It was completed in 2001 and
won the Emporis Skyscraper Award for the Best New Skyscraper the same year.
